I’ve become a fan of Google products lately. I switched from my Hotmail account to Gmail. I use Google Calendar to keep track of when articles are due, when games are being released, or when my next vacation from work is coming up. I’m also a big fan of Google Docs. It’s a great alternative to Microsoft Office that is free, can be accessed from any computer without needing a thumb drive, and makes sharing files easy as well.
Now comes word that Google Docs is getting a little bit better. Soon, people will be able to upload any file type up to 250 MB. If that’s not big enough for you, you can buy more storage for $0.25 per gig per year. Google is rolling out the change slowly, so it might be a while before people can take full advantage of it.
If you’ve never tried Google Docs before, give it a shot! You might like it.
